Mark Dowdy – Junior Warden: Buildings & Grounds, Evangelism

I am delighted to be serving Christ as St. Mary's Junior Warden.  It is a great opportunity to bring Christ into the lives of those I will be working with.  My main duty is to oversee the building and grounds.  Also, Matt Thomas and I have joined forces to lead an Evangelism Committee.  Look for something soon.  As for me, I am a special education teacher and advocate.  I work with children with severe disabilities and mental retardation and their families.  I am involved in many special education projects.  I have been an active membwer of St. Mary's since 1977 and I had attended earlier as a toddler in the early 1970s.  I was baptized and confirmed here.  But most of all, I have always felt St. Mary's to be my spiritual home base.  I hope it can become yours too!  God Bless!  Mark.
